Paint Stripper – a new free open-source tool

Inspired by this post on the Revit Ideas forum, here is a new tool that will remove all Paint from your Revit model for one or more materials. Much faster than doing it one at a time!

  1. Thanks for the pluggin and all the hardwork. I am new to Revit and I would like to install the paint stripper tool, I have downloaded the Boost Your BIM Terrific Tools.msi but as soon as I click run, an error message appears to say “this installation package could not be opened. I then tried to copy the Boost Your BIM Terrific Tools.addin to the revit addins folder, but the addin did not appear in the revit add-ins ribbon. I am on Revit 2018.0.3, is this my version’s issue or am I not installing the addins properly. Thank you.
